RLMarsh & Associates, PC, is proud to sponsor Landman 411 as an ongoing contribution to the landman community. Landman 411 is an educational series of beginning- through intermediate-level classes for field landmen, taught by the experienced title attorneys of RLMarsh & Associates, P.C., Petro Counsel.
These courses were designed to provide a basic foundation for Landmen and Attorneys beginning their careers. Classes are designed for landmen with 0-5 years experience, but all are welcome to attend. Sessions are currently scheduled to be held the last Thursday of each month.
To kick off the series, we are presenting a Land Title Boot Camp each summer, with an overview of the land title system in Texas, together with an overview of how the land function fits within the overall business processes of oil and gas exploration and production. This will also include an in-depth survey of all the sources of legislation, regulation, and land use restriction that impinge upon the land function of an oil company, as well as the fundamental rules that are applied to determine ownership of minerals.
Land Title Boot Camp will be followed by a series of monthly classes which will continue to build upon the foundation of knowledge. Visit our course Course Schedule for details of our upcoming classes and registration information.
Courses offered may be accredited with the AAPL, NALTA, or Texas Bar Association.
